Guaranteed Capital Bonds

Their Guaranteed Capital Bonds III or IV provide a capital protected stock market investment, where part of your investment is linked to the performance of the FT-SE 100T Index. They offer a maximum return of 120% of your original investment for Guaranteed Capital Bond III and 140% for Guaranteed Capital Bond IV (terms for new bonds are subject to periodic change).

Protected Bonds

Protected Bonds - are growth-based with a proportion of the investment based on the performance of the FT-SE 100T Index. As long as you invest for the full term, 85% of your original investment is guaranteed. However if you decide to cash in early, you may not get back your original investment. It offers a maximum return of 180% of the original investment but never less than 85%. Suitable for those prepared to accept an element of risk (terms for new bonds are subject to periodic change).

Flexible Bonds

The NatWest Flexible Bond enables you to choose from a range of funds with different levels of risk. They are invested in assets such as stocks and shares, and 'pool' your investment with others to reduce risk. The value is not guaranteed and you may not get back your original investment. Your returns can be taken as income, re-invested in the bond, or a combination of the two.
