Financial Services > Investments > Investments for Children > Investment Providers - National Deposit Friendly Society
National Deposit Friendly Society is a mutual friendly society founded in 1868. Over the years they rapidly expanded.
The introduction of State Benefits in 1911 saw the society grow further as benefits were provided by such societies. Growth continued through to the introduction the National Insurance Act in 1948. This saw the first free medical treatment for all - the original National Health Service.
Many staff from National Deposit transferred to the Department of Health to help set up and run the service. Currently, the assets of the Society stand at over £134 million and with over 70,000 members, National Deposit is not as large as many far younger commercial financial companies. However, their size is sufficient together with such long experience in financial services to ensure their long-term future.
They provide a tax efficient children's saving plan for just £10 per month. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, godparent or other relative or friend, if you would like more information, please complete a Quick Enquiry Form above and we will arrange for an independent adviser to get in touch with you.
