Woolwich launches eighth edition investment opportunity
Mon, 25 Jul 2005
A new issue of the Woolwich Capital Plus Plan would be offering investors more choice and better returns than before.

The eighth edition investment option gives investors the option of choosing to receive either a fixed minimum return of 22.5 per cent on their investment, or 50 per cent of any growth in the FTSE 100 Index.

The investor gets paid whichever amount is greater over the fixed term investment period that stretches over six years.

"Despite a notable pick up in market over past 12 months, many investors remain unwilling to commit to equities, favouring ‘money-back plus’ styled investments," commented the director of Woolwich plan managers Colin Dickie.

He noted that the Capital Plus Plans offered by Woolwich fall directly into this category, offering a minimum total return of 22.5 per cent on the investment, irrespective of how markets perform.

Mr Dickie also said that investments have the potential to earn even better returns, thanks to the participation rate of 50 per cent.

The new investment opportunity is available from the Woolwich until September 19th 2005.
