The US operations of Edward Jones have been
named as the top full-service retail
stockbroker by an independent company concerned with
investments for America's most wealthy.
An independent research establishment, The Luxury Institute,
assessed the company on effectiveness, personnel and customer
experience.
Tim Kirley of Edward Jones UK commented on the success of the
company, pointing out the operations that have been recognised so
highly in the US are the same as its business in Britain.
That is delivering face-to-face advice to individual
investors to help them achieve their long term financial goals.
Everything we do is focused on building and maintaining strong
relationships with our customers, he remarked.
Edward Jones was found to be the only company out of six
stockbrokers surveyed to score above average ratings on
customer services.
Well-off customers representing the top ten per cent of
America's wealthy investors were questioned by the company for
the research.
Yesterday, director of AJS
Wealth Management Anna Sofat noted that more women were
investing their hard-earned
cash than ever before although they tend to be less adventurous
with their investments compared to their male counterparts.
