Reader's Digest subscribers will soon be given exposure to investments tips and pensions advice following the signing of a new financial services agreement.
Under the terms of the partnership, financing advisory specialist Skipton Financial Services will offer guidance to readers of the magazine on a host of issues, beginning with an explanation of the inheritance tax system.
Eventually, it is expected that further services will be launched to take advantage of the partnership, with an investments planning service and a retirement income service already mooted.
Mike Toole, head of commercial development at Skipton Financial Services, has outlined the potential advantages of the link-up.
"The Reader's Digest offers SFS [Skipton Financial Services] another great opportunity to market its services through different channels to a huge relevant audience," he said.
Earlier this week, pension holders were put on alert after rival financial services company Scottish Life announced it had overhauled its website for the benefit of customers.
