Stock market speculators have been given a fresh insight into which investments provide the most attractive additional perks.
A new complimentary guide from investments specialist Barclays Stockbrokers aims to provide a definitive list of all of the financing benefits that companies offer to their shareholders.
For example, people who have a shareholding in House of Fraser can benefit from discount vouchers at the shop, while those who acquire a stake in financial services provider Legal &General can get ten per cent off the price of life insurance products.
And both of these offers feature no minimum shareholding stipulation, speculators may be interested to learn.
"This guide offers investors a quick and easy reference to the best offers out there," explained Amy Nauiokas, managing director and head of the investments company.
"As the guide shows, there are some interesting and attractive benefits."
The value of the FTSE 100 has been rising in recent months following on from a period of uncertainty earlier in the year.
On February 27th 2007, the share index dropped 2.31 per cent in a day amid global uncertainty about the security of investments in the far east.
