New investment bond offer from Clerical Medical

Clerical Medical has announced a new offer on its investment bonds .

Likely to suit investors who have a little more than most to stow away in a nest egg, the investment company is offering an additional 1.5 per cent interest on applications made online with over £50,000.

For those with less than £50,000, a one per cent bonus is available on the investment, provided they apply by January 20th 2008. This deadline also applies for those investing larger amounts.

Clerical Medical investment products manager Rod MacDonald said that the new investment offer has been launched after its last attempt to provide an extra online incentive saw a doubling of interest.

"When you add in the flexibility of the bond, our fund combinations, our support for With Profits reviews and our range of trust plans, advisers have many compelling reasons to recommend Clerical Medical bonds to clients," he added.

The investment company dates its roots back to the 19th century when a team offered assistance to doctors and clergymen who had short life expectancies due to the nature of their work.
