People are still searching for good investments in the UK, according to one industry player, despite the number of casualties from the difficult economic climate.
While companies with intact reputations available for investment opportunities are scarce at the moment, Alex Brotherston, joint chief executive at Rensburg Fund Management, believes there are still some out there.
Mr Brotherston advised investments into stocks and shares as a greater option than putting money into bonds as, although they are providing less returns than they have done, they are the best alternative on the current market.
He said: "Rather like gardeners, investors need patience. I feel that we are going to see only a slow and gradual improvement in market growth - and for that matter in dividend growth too."
Financial advice website Fool.co.uk recently told those looking for greater dividends on their investments to look into the new tracker range from Vanguard, which is passively-managed.
